She is a faculty member of The Juilliard School’s Music Advancement Program. Julia attended The Juilliard School, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the studio of Elaine Douvas, with additional instruction from Richard Dallessio, Pedro Díaz, Nathan Hughes, and Linda Strommen. Julia and her husband, Clarinetist Liam Burke have been featured in Juilliard’s Artists and their Instruments video series for Juilliard Global Outreach.
